A four-hour practical introductory course that prepares non-medical participants to assess common traumatic injuries, provide appropriate initial first aid for wounds, bleeding, suspected fractures, and thermal burns, recognize shock and urgent warning signs, and activate professional emergency care when needed.
One practical four-hour session for a maximum of 12 participants. Recommended age 16+. No specialist background is required. Delivery remains subject to suitable instructor or assessor coverage, equipment, venue controls, and supervised practical participation.
This is an introductory first-aid course for initial care and escalation. It does not authorise diagnosis, invasive treatment, medication administration, fracture reduction, suturing, or care beyond the participant’s approved training and organisational role.
