A four-hour practical course for building occupants that develops safe alarm response, route and evacuation-map awareness, orderly stair evacuation, initial extinguisher and fire-blanket skills within strict safety limits, and correct assembly-point accountability.
One practical four-hour session for a maximum of 12 participants. Recommended age 16+. No specialist background is required. Delivery is adapted to the premises and remains subject to a current emergency plan or reliable plan review, checked routes, suitable equipment, staffing, venue controls, and supervised practical participation.
This course is for general building occupants. It does not appoint or qualify a participant as a Fire Warden or Marshal. Live fire, live-flame extinguisher discharge, statutory inspection, fire-risk assessment, advanced firefighting, breathing apparatus, search and rescue, and building emergency-plan certification are excluded unless separately scoped and approved.
