First and foremost, the AR-FRI (First Responder Instructor) certification is the gateway for experienced emergency response professionals to become formally authorised AwareReach course instructors. AwareReach designs this first responder instructor training in Lebanon to develop the pedagogical skills, assessment literacy, and quality standards awareness required to deliver first aid courses to the AwareReach standard. Assessment
Written Examination — 40 multiple-choice questions on instructional practice and AwareReach standards, 60 minutes. Consequently, candidates must achieve a minimum of 85% to pass. Practical Assessment — Two observed teaching assessments — one theory and one practical session. Both must be passed to qualify as an AwareReach instructor.
Prerequisite
AwareReach requires a valid AR-AFR (Advanced First Responder) certification for enrolment. Additionally, a minimum of 1 year of documented emergency response experience post-AR-AFR is required.
Certification
Successful candidates receive the AR-FRI — First Responder Instructor Certificate, issued under the AwareReach Certification Authority. In addition, the certificate authorises the holder to deliver AR-BLS, AR-FAR, and AR-ERO courses at approved AwareReach venues.
