First Aid Responder Training in Lebanon — About This Course
First and foremost, the AR-FAR (First Aid Responder) certification builds on foundational life support skills to develop a systematic, competent first aid responder capable of managing the majority of workplace and community emergencies. AwareReach designs this first aid responder training in Lebanon for commercial, educational, and industrial environments.
Additionally, the programme is delivered over two full days, following a structured assessment and intervention framework that mirrors current emergency care best practice. Furthermore, participants develop proficiency across all major trauma and medical emergency categories, with emphasis on scene safety, patient assessment, and appropriate escalation.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of AR-FAR, candidates will be able to:
– Apply a structured primary and secondary patient assessment using the ABCDE approach
– Control severe haemorrhage using direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application
– Recognise and manage hypovolaemic shock and prevent deterioration
– Assess and treat fractures, dislocations, and musculoskeletal injuries
– Manage burns, scalds, and chemical skin injuries using correct first aid protocols
– Respond appropriately to medical emergencies including diabetic crises, seizures, and allergic reactions
– Manage the pregnant patient and recognise obstetric emergencies
– Document and report patient information accurately for handover to emergency services

– Module 2: Patient Assessment — Primary and Secondary Survey (2h)
– Module 3: Airway Management and Ventilation Support (2h)
– Module 4: Haemorrhage Control and Wound Management (2h)
– Module 5: Shock Recognition and Management (2h)
– Module 6: Musculoskeletal Injuries and Spinal Precautions (2h)

– Module 8: Medical Emergencies — Cardiac, Diabetic, Neurological, Anaphylaxis (2h)
– Module 9: Written Examination and Practical Skills Assessment (2h)
Assessment
Written Examination — 40 multiple-choice questions, closed book, 45 minutes. Consequently, candidates must achieve a minimum of 80% to pass.
Practical Assessment — 5 mandatory skills stations: patient assessment, haemorrhage control, shock management, fracture immobilisation, and burns care. All stations must be passed.
Prerequisite
AwareReach welcomes candidates with no formal prerequisites. Nevertheless, AR-BLS (Basic Life Saver) is strongly recommended as preparation for this first aid responder training.
Certification
Successful candidates receive the AR-FAR — First Aid Responder Certificate of Competence, issued under the AwareReach Certification Authority. In addition, the certificate remains valid for 2 years from date of issue. Overall, this first aid responder training in Lebanon follows international resuscitation guidelines established by ILCOR.
